The M500S Addressable Supervised Control Module is an intelligent interface module designed to provide supervised control of notification appliance circuits (NACs) and audio circuits within compatible addressable fire alarm systems. It enables fire alarm control panels to activate and continuously monitor external field circuits, ensuring reliable operation and fault reporting.

The M500S supports 24 VDC notification appliance circuits and 70.7 VRMS speaker circuits, providing flexible integration with horns, strobes, bells, speakers, and other approved notification devices. The module continuously supervises connected wiring for open and short circuit conditions, allowing faults to be identified and reported by the fire alarm control panel.

Operating on 15–32 VDC, the M500S uses low standby current while providing dependable control of externally powered circuits. It supports both Class A and Class B wiring configurations and includes a panel-controlled LED indicator for clear status indication during operation and troubleshooting.

Designed for simple installation, the M500S mounts in a standard 4-inch square electrical box or optional SMB500 surface mount box. The optional CB500 barrier provides separation when non-power-limited wiring is required.

The M500S is commonly used in commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and high-rise applications where supervised control of notification and audio circuits is required.
