The CZ-6 Six Zone Interface Module is an intelligent addressable interface device designed to integrate up to six conventional initiating device circuits (IDCs) into compatible intelligent fire alarm systems. Manufactured by System Sensor (Honeywell), the CZ-6 provides a reliable solution for expanding addressable systems while allowing existing or dedicated conventional detection zones to be monitored through an intelligent signalling line circuit (SLC).

The CZ-6 supports six supervised conventional input circuits, providing continuous monitoring of connected field wiring and initiating devices. Each input zone can be connected to approved conventional detectors and initiating devices, allowing the fire alarm control panel to receive accurate alarm and fault information through the addressable network.

The module communicates through the intelligent SLC and uses six consecutive addresses. A single rotary address setting assigns the base address, with additional addresses automatically assigned for the remaining input zones. Unused zones can be disabled to simplify system programming and commissioning.

Designed for large-scale commercial and industrial applications, the CZ-6 provides a modular installation solution using the CH-6 chassis with compatible BB-6 or BB-2 cabinets. Individual bi-colour LED indicators provide clear status indication for each monitored input, supporting efficient testing, maintenance, and fault identification.
