The M500X Addressable Isolator Module is an intelligent fault isolation device designed to improve the reliability and resilience of addressable fire alarm systems by automatically isolating short circuits on the signaling line circuit (SLC). The module allows fire alarm systems to maintain communication with unaffected devices while preventing a short circuit from disabling the entire loop.

Designed for Style 7 fault isolation applications, the M500X continuously monitors the SLC wiring and automatically disconnects the affected section when a short circuit condition is detected. Once the fault is removed, the module automatically restores normal operation without requiring manual reset.

The M500X supports installation of up to 20 addressable devices between isolators, helping protect large addressable loops while maintaining system integrity. A built-in LED indicator provides clear visual status indication, flashing during normal operation and remaining continuously illuminated when the module has isolated a short circuit.

Operating from 15–32 VDC, the M500X provides low-current operation and reliable fault protection for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and high-rise fire alarm applications. The compact module is designed for installation in a standard 4-inch junction box, providing a simple and flexible solution for SLC loop protection.
