The Honeywell BGL-PC-I00 Intelligent Detector Base Strobe is a loop-powered visual alarm device (VAD) designed for use with compatible System Sensor addressable fire alarm systems. Certified to EN54-23 and EN54-17, it provides reliable visual notification for life safety applications while integrating seamlessly with compatible addressable detector bases.
Designed for ceiling-mounted installations, the BGL-PC-I00 delivers a high-performance red strobe with selectable 0.5 Hz or 1 Hz flash rates. It provides C-3-8.5 EN54-23 coverage, offering an effective coverage diameter of 8.5 metres at an installation height of 3 metres.
The unit is loop-powered, requiring no additional external power supply, and is compatible with the B501AP low-profile detector base. Its pure white housing blends with modern commercial interiors, making it ideal for offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, retail premises, and other commercial buildings.
