Honeywell FAAST FLEX FLX-020 Aspirating Smoke Detector – Stand-Alone Dual Channel

The Honeywell FAAST FLEX FLX-020 is a high-performance, stand-alone dual-channel aspirating smoke detector (ASD) engineered to provide very early warning fire detection in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical environments. With two independent sampling pipe networks, the FLX-020 offers flexible protection for multiple areas while delivering continuous air sampling for rapid smoke detection.

Designed to protect areas of up to 2,000 m², the FLX-020 supports a combined sampling pipe length of up to 420 metres, making it ideal for warehouses, data centres, telecommunications facilities, healthcare environments, archives, manufacturing plants, and other applications where early fire detection is essential.

The detector features an adjustable sensitivity range from 0.05% obs/m to 6.56% obs/m, enabling it to be configured for a wide variety of environments. Initial commissioning is completed using onboard DIP switches, while advanced setup, diagnostics, and maintenance can be performed wirelessly using the Honeywell Bluetooth® mobile app.

Powered by an 18–30 VDC supply, the FAAST FLEX FLX-020 includes programmable Action, Alarm, and Fault relay outputs for each channel, allowing straightforward integration with fire alarm control panels and building management systems. Its robust design operates in temperatures from -40°C to +55°C, providing dependable performance in demanding conditions.
