The System Sensor 5251B-WP is an intelligent addressable fixed-temperature heat detector designed for reliable fire detection in harsh, outdoor, and environmentally challenging locations. Featuring a weatherproof construction, the detector provides dependable thermal detection where standard smoke detectors may not be suitable.

The 5251B-WP uses fixed-temperature sensing technology with an alarm activation temperature of approximately 63°C (135°F) and communicates with compatible Notifier intelligent fire alarm systems through the SLC loop. Rotary decade address switches allow simple device addressing, while dual LEDs provide clear 360° visibility for alarm and status indication.

Designed for demanding applications, the 5251B-WP is suitable for industrial facilities, outdoor areas, plant rooms, loading zones, and locations exposed to dust, moisture, or environmental conditions that may affect smoke detection performance.
