The Honeywell F-BO-AFE70-2 Automatic Purging Unit is a dedicated maintenance accessory for Honeywell FAAST Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) systems. Designed to automatically purge ASD sampling pipe networks using compressed air, it helps minimise the build-up of dust, dirt, and debris, supporting reliable long-term system performance and reducing maintenance requirements.
The unit features six user-selectable purging programs, allowing preventive or event-triggered cleaning cycles to suit a variety of installation environments. Flexible control options include an internal timer, external timer input, and manual push-button operation, providing installers with simple and effective system management.
Operating from a 21.6–30 VDC power supply, the F-BO-AFE70-2 delivers compressed air flow of up to 3,700 L/min at 0.7 MPa, making it suitable for maintaining clean sampling pipe networks in commercial and industrial facilities. Its compact design allows for straightforward installation alongside FAAST ASD systems.
