The System Sensor D2 InnovairFlex™ is a 2-wire photoelectric duct smoke detector designed to provide reliable smoke detection within HVAC air handling systems. Featuring advanced low-flow air sampling technology, the D2 InnovairFlex monitors air movement through ductwork to help detect smoke conditions and support building fire safety strategies.

Designed specifically for air handling applications, the D2 InnovairFlex is not intended for open-area smoke detection. Its innovative pivoting housing provides installation flexibility by allowing mounting on both round and rectangular ductwork, making it suitable for a wide range of HVAC configurations.

The detector operates across a broad airflow range of 100 to 4,000 ft/min (0.5 to 20.3 m/s) and is engineered to perform in challenging environmental conditions, supporting temperatures from -20°C to +70°C and humidity levels up to 95% RH non-condensing.

The InnovairFlex design incorporates features that simplify installation, testing, and maintenance, including cover tamper monitoring, maintenance indication, improved LED status visibility, and compatibility with existing Innovair accessories. The detector is designed for straightforward integration into compatible fire alarm systems and provides dependable duct smoke monitoring for commercial and industrial applications.
