System Sensor 885-WP Weatherproof Conventional Heat Detector – A2R Rate-of-Rise & Fixed Temperature
The System Sensor 885-WP is a weatherproof conventional heat detector designed to provide reliable fire detection in harsh, damp, and outdoor environments. Certified to A2R classification, the detector combines rate-of-rise detection with a nominal 60°C fixed-temperature response, providing dependable protection where smoke detectors may be unsuitable due to dust, moisture, steam, or airborne contaminants.
With an IP66-rated enclosure, the 885-WP is protected against dust ingress and powerful water jets, making it ideal for challenging environments including industrial facilities, loading docks, car parks, plant rooms, warehouses, and covered outdoor areas. The detector features a low-profile design, integrated LED alarm indication, and is supplied with a compatible mounting base for straightforward installation.
Designed for use with conventional fire alarm systems, the 885-WP operates over an 8.5–35 VDC supply and offers low standby current for efficient system operation. The latching LED provides clear visual indication of alarm conditions, simplifying maintenance and alarm identification.
