The B401AUS-IV is a 2-wire plug-in detector base designed for use with compatible Fire Lite conventional smoke and heat detectors. Providing a secure and reliable mounting platform, the B401AUS-IV enables fast detector installation, straightforward maintenance, and dependable electrical connections for conventional fire alarm systems operating on 12 VDC or 24 VDC circuits.

Engineered for flexibility, the B401AUS-IV is compatible with a wide range of conventional detectors. Its twist-lock design allows detectors to be installed or removed quickly, reducing maintenance time while ensuring a secure fit.

The base incorporates a built-in shorting spring that permits loop continuity testing when a detector is removed, simplifying commissioning and servicing. It also supports connection of the RA400Z remote alarm indicator and includes an optional tamper-resistant locking feature to help prevent unauthorised detector removal.

Designed for installation on standard 50 mm or 60 mm junction boxes, the B401AUS offers a compact, low-profile design suitable for commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, and residential applications.
