Description
Fire Detection, Control Panels and System Accessories
The 5151 Series of fire heat detectors meets the needs for applications where rapid response is vital and rapid temperature increases would only be caused by a fire emergency. These detectors initiate an alarm in response to both a rapid rate-of-rise in temperature (increases in excess of 8°C per minute) or respond to a fixed alarm set point (63°C & 90°C). This enables the heat detector to communicate an alarm to the fire alarm control panel (CIE) prior to reaching its fixed set point for high rates of rise of temperature (ROR models only), providing a timely response to both rapid and slow temperature increases.
Four different models are available to suit a wide range of applications. These heat detector models comply with the requirements of AS7240.5-2004. Additional key features include a magnetic test feature and a full line of optional accessories.
