Honeywell FAAST FLEX FLX-010 Aspirating Smoke Detector – Stand-Alone Single Channel

The Honeywell FAAST FLEX FLX-010 is a compact, stand-alone aspirating smoke detector (ASD) designed to provide reliable, very early smoke detection for commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure applications. Featuring a single-channel sampling pipe design, the FLX-010 delivers continuous air sampling for fast detection of smoke particles, helping to identify fire hazards before they develop into major incidents.

Suitable for protecting areas of up to 1,600 m², the FLX-010 supports sampling pipe lengths of up to 270 metres, making it ideal for warehouses, data centres, telecommunications facilities, electrical rooms, archives, healthcare environments, and other applications where early warning fire detection is essential.

The detector offers a configurable sensitivity range from 0.05% obs/m to 6.56% obs/m, allowing it to be tailored to suit a wide variety of environments. Initial commissioning is simplified using onboard DIP switches, while advanced configuration and diagnostics can be completed wirelessly using the Honeywell Bluetooth® mobile app.

Operating from an 18–30 VDC power supply, the FAAST FLEX FLX-010 includes programmable Action, Alarm, and Fault relay outputs for seamless integration with fire alarm and building management systems. Its robust design supports operation in temperatures from -40°C to +55°C, making it suitable for demanding environments.
