The Honeywell FAAST F-BO-AFE70-3 Automatic Purging Unit is a dedicated accessory designed for use with Honeywell FAAST Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) systems. It provides automatic compressed-air purging of sampling pipe networks to help maintain system performance by removing dust, debris, and contaminants that may accumulate over time.
Featuring programmable preventive and event-triggered purging cycles, the F-BO-AFE70-3 helps improve the reliability and longevity of ASD installations in demanding environments. With six selectable purging programs, flexible control options, and Master–Slave linking capability, it offers efficient management of large or complex aspirating smoke detection systems.
The unit delivers up to 5,000 L/min of air flow and operates from a 21.6–30 VDC supply. Designed for industrial and commercial applications, it features an IP54-rated enclosure, a compact grey white (RAL 9002) housing, and reliable operation in temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.
