The ACM-8RA Relay Output Expansion Module is an intelligent relay expansion interface designed to add eight programmable relay outputs to compatible Honeywell NOTIFIER fire alarm control panels. It enables the fire alarm system to control a wide range of external equipment and building services, providing a flexible solution for integrating life safety systems with auxiliary control functions.

The ACM-8RA features eight Form-C (changeover) relay outputs, allowing individual control of external devices such as building management systems (BMS), emergency warning and intercommunication systems (EWIS), lift recall, door release systems, smoke control equipment, HVAC shutdown, and other fire safety interfaces. Each relay output can be programmed through the fire alarm control panel using configurable control logic to suit the system design.

Communication between the ACM-8RA and the fire alarm control panel is via the reliable RS-485 ACS communication bus, providing supervised operation and continuous monitoring of module status. Rotary address switches allow simple module addressing, and multiple ACM-8RA modules can be installed on the same system to increase the number of available relay outputs.

Designed for installation within compatible fire alarm control panel enclosures, the ACM-8RA mounts securely using a CHS mounting bracket, providing an organised and space-efficient installation for commercial and industrial fire alarm systems.
