Description
The FFA-DDS-3 Automatic Door Drop Seal is a concealed, medium-duty automatic door bottom seal designed to improve the acoustic, medium temperature smoke and fire performance of timber and metal doors. Certified by Global-Mark, it provides reliable long-term sealing performance while maintaining a clean, concealed appearance.
The seal is fully mortised into a groove at the bottom or top of the door. As the door closes, an adjustable actuator button contacts the door jamb and activates the internal spring-loaded mechanism, lowering the silicone sealing gasket evenly onto the floor to create a continuous seal. When the door opens, the gasket automatically retracts, preventing floor contact and reducing wear for smooth and reliable operation.
Manufactured with a durable aluminium alloy body and silicone rubber sealing gasket, the FFA-DDS-3 also features built-in level adjustment to provide an effective seal on uneven floor surfaces. It can be operated using a nylon button, metal button or roller button, making it suitable for a wide range of door applications.
